NBLK® 2027 Small Business Build Grant™
Effective November 7, 2026
Our Commitment
NBLK is a data company that doesn't track you. We work with data for a living, which is exactly why we are careful with yours. This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels, and carries no analytics that follow you from one site to the next.
We only use data that people choose to give us. If you never start an application, we hold nothing about you at all. If you do, we hold what you typed, because we need it to read your application.
We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anybody. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a third party for their own purposes. There is no version of this where that changes.
Your data is yours. You can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted, at any time, by writing to info@nblk.co.
The short version
- We collect what we need to read your application and run the grant.
- We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own use.
- We use a small number of service providers to host and run the site. They may only use your data to provide that service to us.
- There is one cookie: the one that keeps you signed in while you fill in the form. There are no tracking cookies.
- Your data is stored in the United States.
- You can ask to see, fix or delete your data at any time.
Who we are
The NBLK® 2027 Small Business Build Grant™ is run by NBLK LLC. In this policy, “NBLK,” “we” and “us” mean NBLK LLC.
Questions about your data: info@nblk.co.
What we collect
When you apply
- Your name and email address.
- Your organization: whether it is a business or a nonprofit, its name, what it does, the communities it serves, the city, state and ZIP code it operates from, the year it was registered, and its revenue or yearly budget for the past year.
- What you would like built, which tools you currently pay for, roughly what those cost you each month and how many hours a week the work takes you.
- Your answers to the “Where you are today” questions and the comfort ratings.
- The two story answers, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- How you heard about the grant.
- The four confirmations you tick before you submit.
When you use the site
- A sign-in session, held in a cookie, so that your answers save as you go and are still there when you come back. It lasts twelve hours and is cleared when you sign out.
- Ordinary server records kept by our hosting provider, such as the address a request came from, for security and to keep the site working. These are not used to build a profile of you.
There are no tracking cookies on this site, no advertising pixels, and no third-party analytics that follow you anywhere.
Why we use it
- To check whether you are eligible, under the grant rules.
- To read and judge your application, and to choose the winners.
- To email you about your application: the sign-in code, the result, and anything we need to ask you.
- To run the consultation and the build if you are chosen.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What the “Where you are today” answers are also for
Plainly: those answers do two jobs. They help us judge your application, and they also help NBLK understand what small businesses and nonprofits actually need, so that we can build better tools for them. That second use is the whole reason the questions are worded the way they are.
We never sell these answers and we never share them in a way that identifies you or your organization. When they are used for that second purpose, they are used in totals and patterns across many applicants, never as your individual answers with your name on them.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in the United States. This grant is open to US applicants only, and the systems behind it run in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Applications are kept for three years after the grant year closes, so that we can answer questions about a decision and so that the rule about earlier grant winners can be applied.
- If you are chosen, the records of your consultation and your build are kept for as long as we need them to support what we built for you.
- Sign-in sessions last twelve hours and are deleted after that.
- If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it, except anything we are required to keep by law.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the data we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- You can ask us to delete your data. If you do this before the deadline, your application is withdrawn.
- You can withdraw an application at any time before it is submitted, simply by not submitting it.
Write to info@nblk.co and a person will answer.
Security
Your answers travel over an encrypted connection and are stored on systems with access limited to the people who need it. The sign-in session is held in a cookie that a script in your browser cannot read.
No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong with your data, we will tell you.
Children
This grant is for registered businesses and nonprofits. The site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of it. If a change matters to people who have already applied, we will email them.
